The skill to speak any language can open doors to a plethora of opportunities. Language is a master key that can unlock numerous opportunities. In today’s era there is a mass production of students and working professionals thus creating a rat race for success. Learning the German language can make you run in a league of your own

The first question that comes to our mind when we indulge in any activity is what is in it for me? If the same question is bothering you, I am happy you are with me. Let’s first look at the opportunity of learning German language from an economic lens before we navigate to other aspects. 

Germany is the home for a large number of economic players like Siemens, Adidas, Volkswagen and Lufthansa. Berlin, the capital of Germany, is a hub of innovative ideas and rightly termed ‘The silicon valley of Europe’

Knowing the German language not only allows you to connect with an additional 100 million people but also enables you to access 15 million more websites which is a treasure house of knowledge in the digital arena. German websites with the extension .de are the second largest in the internet world.

Germany is the biggest power in the biggest economy in the European Union and the fourth largest worldwide. There will be a huge demand for you if you could translate and interpret the German language. You can well be the bridge of communication between Germany and other countries, it could be yet another lucrative career option.

German universities have an excellent reputation. In the year 2011, Germany was ranked as the 4th most popular student destination in the world. There are many universities which provide free education or education at a very minimal fee. If you are a student why not grab this golden opportunity with both hands.

Germany is the land of innovators, the fact that Germany has won more than 100 nobel prizes in the field of science is testimony to their brilliance. Germany also has a rich culture and heritage. The knowledge of language can make us appreciate the uniqueness.

Let’s debunk some myths and shed light on certain facts. This would help to drive out the fear and help you thrive in your befriending of the German language. The letters of German and English are very similar except for a few letters. Many words in English and German share the same Germanic root.

If you have found your purpose, I urge you to come to the right place. The right kind of practice is all you need to transform your dream of learning German language to reality.
